So two weeks into my awesome blog “revamp” and I find myself already falling behind on my promise to post at least every other day. In other news, social media has proclaimed this Wednesday, August 26, 2015 #NationalDogDay. On this National Dog Day I am not going to be speaking of canines in any fashion. The answer to both my lack of blogging consistency and lack of puppy pictures on Instagram comes in the form of one furry black kitten: Harlow.

Harlow is the eight week old, half-himalayan kitten (who may or might not have at one time had fleas) kitten who has been pitifully crying Reina and I to sleep for the past three nights. Reina and I got her Sunday afternoon from the most respectable (I say that only half-sarcastically) Craigslist ad. From the moment we traded her for a fistful of cash in a McDonald’s parking lot she has been crying, scratching, and farting her cute self into our hearts. See cuteness below:

Due to the fact that I have been gone all day and Reina is currently out and about, kitten Harlow is currently putting more effort into using my laptop keyboard than I am. Because of that, I’m going to keep this post short and sweet. I just wanted to pop in and let you all know about our new family addition (to see all wedding updates and soon-to-be family posts check out the hashtag #finallygriffins on both Twitter and Instagram). I also felt like I should saw that I am still writing and will hopefully have an entire slew of posts should be coming towards the rest of this week/weekend!

Until then, I’ll be too busy playing with my new kitten to pay attention to this blog (but you should still totally like, comment, and share!).

P.S. By request – a few more pictures and the promise of more to come!
